== Height Map ==
Sure, I'd be happy to help!
Here's a heightmap for the 2012-05 patch [http://www.codethecode.com/download/ac/dereth-height-2012-05.png dereth-height-2012-05.png] (associated regular map is [http://www.codethecode.com/download/ac/dereth-2012-05.png dereth-2012-05.png]).  The height is 0  for the water, up to 255 for the max height.  I'm using the height for all three color channels, so it is effectively a greyscale image.
I have notes that "Adjacent pixels are 24 units apart.  24 * 8 = 192 per land block... 24 * 2041 = 48984 for the whole map.  Heights are 2 * z... hopefully in the same units."
I could make the water areas transparent if you needed.  Let me know if that works, or if you need anything else.
By the way, when you said "Retail CD", I don't suppose you meant the original release CD?  I'd love to get my hands on those data files :)  The earliest I have the the Dark Majesty ones.

Probably the easiest way would be to use Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com).  If you don't already use this, free accounts get 2 GB of storage, or if you sign up with this link <http://db.tt/db7Oafp> you'll get an extra 500 MB and I'll get an extra 1GB.  Dropbox provides a folder that gets synced across all of your computers.  You can share folders with other people, or put files in a public folder and then copy a public link to it, something like <http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7958574/ac/dungeon-00a2.png>.  You can normally do that through the Finder (which isn't working for me), or through their website.  I use it for work, to share files with other members of my team.
Alternatively, you can send me email at nygard@gmail.com and I'll set up an account where you can ftp the files.
I should only need the Retail files.  I have the DM ones, and I'm sure I still have my TOD CDs.  Thanks!
