Color

I don't think it has ever come up. On Page_Templates#Text_Colors we use "grey" to specify the color of emote chat. But there are other instances like you pointed out where we use gray. both are correct. However I see your point with it being an issue when it comes to naming clothes and packs.

I think we should decide based on what is used in AC. And grey seems to be much more commonly used. Examples: Grey Taper, Grey Pea, Grey Rat, Grey Spine, Grey Rat Tail, Sea Grey Kindling Stone, Robes of Grey Dawn.
