Images with disallowed characters in name

I forget too what I told you before, there's a couple of ways to do this, but in this case the best way to handle it is the following, especially in cases where many items use the same image.

 1. Upload a copy of the image using a simple descriptive name, for example:
 2. Then for any items that would use that file, type in the name of the file as it should exist (using any characters like ":" as needed) into the search box, it will give a red create page link, click it and then on a single line put #Redirect [[File:Contract Yellow Icon.png]] and then you can reference it like any other item's image, for example:

Essence

I added a T/F parameter to the template that will display specialization required (example). --How often to wash makeup brushes? ,wholesale mac makeup ,,http://clarisonicmia2us.webs.com/#18392 5:01am, 26 February 2013

Quest Page Titles

Now that Turbine is creating contracts for virtually all new quests, does it make sense for the page title for all quests to be the "official" name used in the contract? Looking at edit histories, it looks like Arkalor and Immortalbob had some bots go and do bulk name changes. The policy on the topic here seems to be dated. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 19:56, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

- Suca - Turbine usually seems to release the contracts a month after the actual quest gets released, I try and use the dungeon name if one exists, otherwise I use the contract if it one exists at time the dungeon is released. Take this month as an example, there is no Contract for it http://acpedia.org/wiki/Presk%27s_Bunker_Quest so i used the dungeon name.

Agreed. The contracts are typically 1-2 months behind the quest release and I think the names given by the page creators are fine. My question is more should the policy be to switch the official page name to be the contract name once the contract is released or just add the contract name as a redirect? Seems like the "official" name from the contract would make more sense, as not everyone in game uses the wiki. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 00:18, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Quest Summary Template

Template: Quest Summary does not seem to be parsing correctly and assigns the wrong categories to pages. Any idea why? I'm not sure who I should ask about this. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 14:36, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Got an example to show me?
I figured this out. It's because the ParserFunctions extension is not installed on this wiki. Here's one example: Ice Tachi Quest. You can see that page is categorized as non-standard timer and as having a mana forge key, when it has neither. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 19:09, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Template:Quest Summary

Think we should add a new parameter to Template:Quest Summary for MMD reward? Seems like most quests will need to list it now. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 19:09, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Ok, did that. Can you add links to Legendary Key Quests and MMD Quests to MediaWiki:MenuSidebar? --Darkmurkrow (talk) 17:33, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

"Live" Events this patch

Hey man, do you think the "live" events this patch should be considered quests? They appear to be randomly reoccurring events. I was going to create the page for the Drudge Balloon one. --Darkmurkrow (talk) 20:22, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
