Overview
"Take heed! With the loss of our Lord, many shadows seek leadership other than the old generals. A new dark power is rising near the crater where our Lord was first imprisoned. Come and bask in the dark glory! We shall rise anew and consume this land with darkness!"
- To access this quest, you must first obtain a Dark Towers Portal Gem. They can be found as trophies from Shadow Spectres and as rare trophies in Black Marrow Reliquaries. You can find many spawns of Shadow Spectre in the Temple of Stirring Shadows (Take Haliana in Cragstone at 26.2N 46.3E and then run to 70.2N, 65.5E.
Walkthrough & Notes
- Gather your group and then use the gem to summon a portal to the first of 3 Dark Towers suspended in the air above the Obsidian Plains.
- Note: This is a hot drop full of Shadow Spectres, Abyssal Shadows, and Destroyer Grievvers.
- Kill the Shadow Phantom Leader to spawn a portal to the next tower.
- After portaling in to the 2nd tower, kill the Shadow Nightmare Leader to spawn a portal to the 3rd tower.
- Note: This is a hot drop full of Shadow Wraiths, Shadow Phantoms, and Bane Grievvers.
- The final tower has a bunker, which is home to a Consumed Wraith. Kill the wraith and loot a Shadow Stone Necklace from its corpse (drops 5 necklaces).
- Note: This is a hot drop full of Shadow Nightmares, Shadow Wraiths and Shadow Phantoms.
- There is also an unlocked Runed Chest inside the bunker you can use if you choose.
