Quest Overview

Walk Through

  1. Speak to Nekshla at 22.2S 6.2E at Neftet.
  2. Enter the Desert Dwelling portal at 21.0S 7.6E.
  3. The dungeon is filled with statues that turn and cast high-damage void volleys. The drop is not safe, be healed and ready before entering the portal.
  4. The dungeon is linear, follow the path, being wary of the statue traps. There are also blade waves that run down the hallways, it is recommended that you hug the walls and wait at safe spots. There are Ensorcelled Weapons throughout the dungeon as well.
  5. When you reach Janthef, talk to him, and he will summon a group of Ensorcelled Weapons. Kill them and loot the key and use it to open the locked door ahead.
  6. Follow the path once more. When you find Janthef again, he will summon more weapons, as well as a Whirlwind Golem (use cold. watch for wave spells). The golem drops the next key.
  7. When you reach a split in the dungeon, the left path has vulnerability traps and leads to a chorizite chest, the right path leads to the end of the dungeon.
  8. At the end is Janthef (Creature) along with some Whirlwind Golems, kill him and the Spirit of Janthef will spawn, talk to the NPC for Xp, Luminance, and a 2-use Legendary Key.

Notes

  • During the The Quest for Freedom event the reward was changed to changed to a 2 use Legendary Key.
  • This page needs details and cleaning up, simply writing a quick walkthrough.
  • During the Fowl Play event the NPC version of Janthef can no longer be hit by AoE/Cleave attacks which previously caused him to break.
