Quest Overview

Darktide only xp levers that were announced in January 2005, introduced in February and then removed in June due to server related lag.

Walk Through

  1. You first had to run to one of Mausoleums corresponding to your level group. You could only enter the dungeons if you currently had PK status.
  2. The dungeons were void of any creatures, the only danger being your fellow Darktider who usually was too busy raising his or her xp to fight you.
  3. There were two steps to raising your xp. First you had to click on a Pillar of Cruelty which flagged you to to use the xp lever for 30 minutes.
  4. You then had to make your way through what seemed like a maze to the Effigy of Cruelty for your experience.
  5. The levers could be used every 5 minutes and the xp was level based.
  6. Attempting to use the levers past the level restrictions of the dungeon resulted in having your protections dispelled and your jump skill reduced before finally being teleported 1000 feet in the air to fall to your death.
