Wouldn't a temporary name like "Tukal Lassel" be more appropriate? The word "mare" is Latin and not used as such on Dereth. Since we don't know a word for "sea" or "island" or "land mass" in the Lugian language, choosing such a word from another language on Auberean might be better. Afura Mann 17:01, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

I'm also confused by the naming. Where does it say that Tukal translates to Lugian Bastion or Bastion? Wouldn't that mean that the Bastion of Tukal would be the Tukal of Tukal, or the Bastion of Bastion? From the Lugian AC:DM lore, we learned that Tukal had a very different meaning, "They live, for the most part, in the Linvak Mountains in the south of Osteth, where their fortress of Linvak Tukal was built. (This translates as “Great Tukal” – Tukal being a city on their homeworld equal in size and importance to Ispar’s Tirethas, Roulea, or Celdon.)" So from that perspective, naming it Mare Tukal makes as much sense as naming a sunken Aluvian city Sea Celdon.

I have not yet been able to play this patch, but I'm also confused what a lugian city was doing under the sea anyway. They haven't been on Dereth that much longer than humans. I'll have to investigate this quest more, hopefully tomorrow.--An Adventurer 01:44, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Since there didn't seem to be any reason behind keeping the name Mare Tukal (see above) I renamed the page Ancient Lugian Fortress, as the 1 NPC refers to it as an ancient fortress, its of lugian design, and we have no official name. I also changed the article from a town template to a POI template. It really met none of the requirements to be a town as it is completely empty, so it is now a major POI. I would guess we'll probably see this place developed more, and its certainly possible it might become a town, but until then it should stay a point of interest. --An Adventurer 01:19, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
