Trinkets were introduced during the Gears of Change patch. They can be placed in an extra slot on the Inventory Panel.
Trinkets are mostly loot generated.
Loot generated Trinkets can be imbued with special majors, moderates and minors using the Item Tinkering skill. See Trinket Imbuing for further information.
