Overview
Retrieve information from the Tanada Toresen Temple.
- This quest and Tanada Slaughter can be completed at the same time.
Walkthrough & Notes
- Speak to Kinchou in Hoshino Town #3 (second floor of a house) at 78.4N, 40.5W. Note the house is not safe, and creatures spawn on both floors.
- Route/Shortcut: Stonehold to Desolation Beach portal at 69.7N, 20.2W.
- Go to the Tanada Toresen Temple at 42.5S, 72.3E.
- Route: Hebian-To to South Shoushi Villas portal at 41.5S, 82.1E.
- Make your way to a room with an opening into a pit. You will see frost wave traps down below. Do not jump below, but instead on a wooden ledge across from the opening in the wall.
- Jump your way across using the wooden ledges. Most are 1/2 or 2/3 shift jumps. If you fall, you can run back up and try again but beware of the traps below.
- From the final ledge, jump down into a small room.
- Ahead is a room with the boss Tanada Nanjou Jogensha and 2 more Tanada Nanjou Gunjinn. Kill the boss and loot a Coded Tanada Scroll and a Legendary Key from him (he drops 9 of each). Use the key on the nearby chests.
- Return to Kinchou for your rewards.

- Kinchou tells you, "Inside of the temple in the distant south near 42.5S, 72.3E you will find the Tanada training their newest recruits. It is here where the Tanada are hiding valuable information we seek."
- Kinchou tells you, "Our spies tell us that several Jogensha Shou-Jen are within these walls and carry vital information we must possess."
- Kinchou tells you, "A mortal would not be my first choice to bestow such a crucial task, but the decision was not mine to make. We cannot risk an all out war with the Tanada if my kind are discovered raiding a Tanada temple...not yet."
- Kinchou tells you, "Do not disappoint us. We do not deal well with failure."

- You allow Kinchou to examine your Coded Tanada Scroll.
- You hand over all of your Coded Tanada Scrolls.

- Kinchou tells you, "Fine work for a mortal. I was sure you would fail and the Tanada would be torturing you as we speak."
- Kinchou tells you, "Perhaps Darviss was correct."

- Kinchou begins studying the scroll.
- Kinchou tells you, "I require nothing further from you. You are dismissed."
