Now that the pathway to Geraine's stronghold is open, the Archons are leaving their holding behind… although not everything came with them on their journey.

Of course, passing through the portal is but the beginning of the journey--and likely the easiest. There are many, many guardians between the Archons and Geraine's resting place.
