The Virindi have found a vessel for the next Imperator of Auberean… a body for the new avatar of their all-powerful Singularity.

The current owner of this body, a young lugian named Thromer Olvidan, does not know why he has been chosen…

…but his family fears that the incarnation of the new Imperator will annihilate the young captive's mind.
