Question Title: How can my vassal earn me 600,000 XP more than I even have?
Category: Allegiances
Question: This question is related to the one you have listed already about the calculation of XP between Patron and Vassal.

Currently my vassal, who is the best vassal in the game, is level 51 with a Loyalty of 142. I am level 32 with a Leadership stat of 29. I show that my vassal has earned me ~8,860,000 xp. I also show that I have only earned ~8,299,000 xp total.

How is this possible? Are the extra points my vassal has supposedly earned wasted? Have I really earned negative half million points myself? (j/k) Will raising his loyalty help me further, or is it a useless expense for him, better spent on other skills?

Answer: The loyalty skill allows you to share your experience with your monarch. The higher your skill, the more points you will allocate to your monarch. The leadership skill allows you take a percentage of experience your vassals have allocated to you, wasting the points that you are not skilled enough to harvest. As a result, getting both a good loyalty and a good leadership are necessary if you plan on taking full advantage of the allegiance system.
