| Question: | Is it going to be possible to add in some extra code that makes it so that the quest timer doesn't trigger unless you actually recieve the letter from Macniell? I recently got my idol gem while hunting, it was at the end of my hunting trip and I hadn't yet unloaded all my loot. In fact my main pack was totally full and the gem was in a different pack. I gave Macniell the gem and he *tried* to give me the letter. I was mad at myself but I figured I could just go get another gem and that would be it. But instead when I tried to give him another gem he informed me he had already given me one. *sigh* So is there hope for me or do I have to wait 4 months for my 1st bandit hilt? |

| Answer: | That bug (where you are marked as receiving an item when you don't actually receive the item) is in the bug database, though it is a bit low in priority due to the effort/payoff ratio. But even when the bug is fixed, it won't be retroactive. So I'm afraid you'll have to wait til the timer runs out. Sorry... |
