Question: Question: Is it possible and/or likely that we can have some form of contact for everyone in an Allegiance/Monarchy to talk to everyone else. I thought - @a - might be a good idea !!
Just like @f for fellowship etc.
The message would go out to all people with the same monarch as you. That way they might be new chars you've never met before or someone muling who you didn't know was on etc. and isn't in your friends list !!
It would make any family business massively easier to conduct.

Answer: We don't allow allegiance-wide chat because of the incredible server hit. Those messages often have to be sent to hundreds of people in vastly different locations. This is even more expensive than sending world-wide broadcasts, because we have to selectively send the messages instead of just sending them to everyone.

So, although there are some allegiance-communication tools in the works for the future, they won't be quite as general-purpose as this.
