Sky Sphere instead of Sky Plane

Question Title: Sky Sphere instead of Sky Plane
Category: Graphics
Question: I know it's a very low priority thing but what would be involved in making the sky plane into a sky sphere or at least fake it somehow. It's not a huge problem but I always thought it would make it look that much better if you were on top of a mountain somewhere and the sky didn't just end in the distance in a flat line.

Answer: If your refering to the clouds, there's no good way to make them on a sphere and still have them move independently of the backgroud atmosphere. If you placed the texture on a sphere, it would warp all over the place. The only way to make it work would be to rotate the cloud sphere, which doesn't make for a very convincing cloud effect.

I could prevent the distance problem if it wasn't for the extreme height an AC character can traverse, and the fact that AC has a horizon. Most games don't have to deal with horizon, and don't allow the camera to move over 1000 meters above sea level.
