• Originally dropped by Virindi Grand Inquisitors when it was one of the three possible exchange items needed for a Writ of Refuge.
• When the Preparation for the Ritus quest was introduced a new purple version became available. As part of the initial preparation Nuhmudira briefly appeared in Zaikhal on Nov 6 2003 and accepted one newer purple Energy Crystal in return for an old blue one inscribed by herself: "I thank you for acquiring this item for me. Through your actions I will have the power necessary to enact my ritus."
