• Originally dropped by Virindi Grand Inquisitors when it was one of the three possible exchange items needed for a Writ of Refuge.
• When the Preparation for the Ritus quest was introduced a new purple version became available. As part of the initial preparation Nuhmudira briefly appeared in Zaikhal on November 6th 2003 and accepted one newer purple Energy Crystal in return for an old blue one, which she inscribed: "I thank you for acquiring this item for me. Through your actions I will have the power necessary to enact my ritus."
