Quest Overview

Retrieve the fabled Ice Tachi from one of several locations around Dereth.

Walk Through

There are three different locations where one may find the Ice Tachi:

Mosswart Camp

1. Optional Visit one of the barkeeps in Shoushi and purchase the Green Mire Camp Directions.
2. From Shoushi run "north (and a tiny bit west)" as the rumor says to 27.5S, 71.0E - Mosswart Camp.
3. At the camp you will find a group of different Mosswarts. The Ice Tachi is on the Mosswart Mucker.

Mosswart Shrine

1. From Yanshi run to the Mosswart Shrine at 14.7S, 48.0E. The Ice Tachi is dropped on the Mosswart Mucker

Mosswart Holding

1. Several Mosswart Muckers may be found in a room in the Mosswart Holding. This is a higher level dungeon and it is not recommended for new players.

You've earned 10,000 experience.

Ivory Crafter tells you, "I wish to study this in depth. Perhaps I can learn this level of work ..."

You give Ivory Crafter Ice Tachi.

Ivory Crafter tells you, "Thank you, but I have plenty to study for at least a month. Perhaps if you return later I will have time to examine this."

Ivory Crafter gives you Ice Tachi.

Notes

• The Mosswart Mucker that dropped the Ice Tachi was originally located in two locations: The Mosswart Camp near Shoushi, and inside the Underground City. The Mucker in the Underground city was later removed, and the mucker at the swamp shrine near which originally dropped the Acid Axe was changed to drop the Ice Tachi.
• During the That Which is Ours event, the Ice Tachi was updated with new stats and also received an xp reward.
• During the Reforging the Past event, the timer was standardized to 27 days. The quest also became part of the new Facility Hub Quests.
• During the Filling in the Blanks event, the respawn timer of the Mosswart Mucker was reduced to around 1 minute. This change was only made to the [[Mosswart Camp near Shoushi, which is the location used by the Facility Hub Quests.
