Loot Tier

Loot tier refers to the overall level of quality and usefulness of items that can be generated and placed on creatures' corpses. The higher the loot tier, the higher quality the loot. There are currently 7 tiers of loot in Asheron's Call. The 7th tier was introduced as part of the 100th update Ancient Powers.

Loot tiers are also referred to as 'Wealth'; thus the best treasure in the game is in Wealth 7. The newer development team seems to prefer Loot Tier; in srand's day it was Wealth.

Tiers are generally tied into monster level. Wealth 6 loot appears on all monsters level 135 or higher (Grave Rats and Lost Souls are exceptions, being 135 and Wealth 5).
