Walk Through
- Speak to Kleeoh at 2.5S 86.5E. This flags you for entrance into Behind the Waterfall to the south at 8.7S 85.7E. Speaking to Kleeoh only needs to be done once.
- Beginning with Behind the Waterfall there are a series of 4 dungeons.
- Speak to Oolutanga, the Tusker King who will portal you to a ready room with a portal to Mowen Udaun. Dispel any vulns before going in.
- Kill Mowen Udaun then quickly go into the portal that appears on the north side of the room, this flags you for the reward. If you miss the portal you will need to run all the way back and kill Mowen again.
- Speak to Oolutanga, the Tusker King again, don't move until you are given the Fabled Tusker Paw. It will have one use if you were in the group and used the portal that spawns when Mowen dies. If you did the most damage you will be given a three use paw.
- To the south of Bobo are two portals, do not use the exit portal. Go inside Idol of Wishes in the SW corner.
- Inside this dungeon are a series of tusker statues, each one corresponds to a skill and most give experience into that skill (random) or alternatively give a special reward about 3% of the time. The main exception is the Statue of Artificer's Wish which always gives the spell Recall Aphus Lassel. See the table below for a complete list of possible rewards. The possible xp amounts per turn in are:
- 100,000xp
- 250,000xp
- 500,000xp
- 1,000,000xp
- 3,000,000xp
- The quest can be repeated every 3 days, during this period you cannot renenter the arena where Mowen spawns.
Items
The statues are mostly arranged in alphabetical order (of the skill) starting with A on the north and going south. The exceptions are Thrown Weapons which is near the north side and the two Greedy Wish statues in the middle near the drop. Some statues have more than one rare reward. You have to be trained or specialized in the skill in order to successfully use a given statue.
Lore & Dialog
Kleeoh tells you, "Hello child, I sense dat you be looking for high adventure here where da tusker is king, no? Well let Kleeoh give you da help den. Why ya wonder I hid from ya when first ya came to da island?"
Kleeoh tells you, "Well that be simple, Oolutanga don't be liking those of us dat can think for ourselves. Who's Oolutanga?"
Kleeoh tells you, "You come to da island of da king Oolutanga. A refugee from da halls of a cruel virindi name by Aerbax."
Kleeoh tells you, "Oolutanga is a special tusker you see. Yes. He be powerful strong and powerful big and powerful smart. He be a tusker dat hates da virindi. He frees his people when he can."
Kleeoh tells you, "He has a magic about him. A magic dat comes from da hand dat he lost while fighting da former owner of dis island."
Kleeoh chortles.
Kleeoh tells you, "Dey say dat if a person get hold of da hand taken from Oolutanga dey can have three wishes granted. But only in da temple of da king."
Kleeoh tells you, "You be wanting to go dere den eh?"
Kleeoh tells you, "Well head to da waterfall on de interior of dis island and search for da entrance. Dere you find your way... Dere you find your way."
Kleeoh tells you, "Read da signs. Dey tell secrets dey do."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King tells you, "I am Oolutanga the Tusker King. You are not worthy of speaking to me. You must fight and beat our hero Mowen Udaun before you can have my magic Tusker Paw."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King tells you, "Take your group and prepare for battle in the room where I will send you. Take your time and be ready to fight our champion who is very strong. Then go through the portal there and come to the isle of testing."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King tells you, "I will bring the other tuskers to watch you in your fight."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King tells you, "Win and I will reward you with my fabled Tusker paw, I will even make sure it has its magical powers courtesy of the other who speaks like you, Ketnan."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King tells you, "Lose and your body will rot in the arena. Sorry that is the way of things around here. Make sure you armor yourself well, because your magic will help very little against Mowen."
Oolutanga, the Tusker King teleports you with Trial of the Tusker Hero.
