Quest Overview

A quest to retrieve the remaining three of the four Writings of Jhong Mi. The missing part is found by completing the previous Yanshi Starter Quest: Lou Ei's Stolen Bracelet.

Walk Through

Yanshi Tunnels and the ReedShark Lair

(Note: These two quest turn-ins are for very little XP)

  1. Head to Old Yanshi and go to the Yanshi Tunnels just a few clicks away at 12.1S, 45.6E.
  2. Take all lefts until you reach an open room with furniture and food on the floor, in the corner near the beds is a chest which contains the second of Jhong Mi's Writings.
  3. Go back to the start and use the surface portal, when outside head east to the ReedShark Lair at 12.2S, 48.3E.
  4. Make your way through the hall ignoring the first few side rooms, you will be in an open room with a bridge above you.
  5. From here head west past the bridge and up the ramp to the third of Jhong Mi's Writings stored in a chest.
  6. Return both of the writings to Dai Ya the Scholar in Yanshi (12.0S, 42.6E) for your rewards.

The Deserted Ruin

  1. Speak to Te Ven at the South Yanshi Outpost 15.7S, 46.4E.
  2. Once you have received Te Ven's Key run to the nearby Deserted Ruin at 16.0S, 47.2E.
  3. Inside the dungeon take a right at the split and then keep left until you reach a locked door use the key and loot the first of Jhong Mi's Writings from the chest.
  4. Return the writings to Dai Ya the Scholar in Yanshi (12.0S, 42.6E) for your rewards.
