Quest Overview

The Training Halls were the location of the original tutorial quest designed to familiarise players with the basic game mechanics of Asheron's Call.

The halls were officially retired during the The First Strike event when six of the Starter Outposts were destroyed. The old tutorial has since been replaced with the newer Training Academy Quest.

Walkthrough

  • Enter the Training Halls portal at any of the Starter Outposts.
  • Speak with the Greeter for instructions.
  • Follow the glowing green arrows through the halls, you will come to a long hallway with rows of Straw Target Drudges that you can practise your combat skills on.
  • Continue on and pick the Training Hall Key up from off the floor and unlock the door directly in front of you.
  • Hand your Calling Stone to the Training Master for a Potion of Healing and ?? experience points.
  • Exit the hall via the surface portal nearby when finished.

Lore & Dialog

Greeter tells you, "Welcome! The Training Master is at the end of these Halls. Please follow the GLOWING ARROWS to get to the end. DOUBLE-CLICK the signs along the way to read them."

Training Master says, "If you come across a new monster or item, use the magnifying glass to try to learn more information. Since your assesssment or appraisal skills are used, you may not learn very much if those skills are low."

Training Master says, "Barkeeps in the main towns usually sell information about where to find adventure. Be sure to seek them out!"
