One of the basic character templates provided by Turbine. It replaced the original Vagabond template. Its description is as follows:

WAYFARERS are true jack-of-all-trades. Beholden to no one, Wayfarers choose their way through their adventures with stealth and skill. The Wayfarer gets the Dirty Fighting, Dual Wield, Finesse Weapons, Healing, Item Enchantment, Lockpick, Melee Defense, Healing [sic] and Missile Weapons skills.

Suggested skills to learn as your Wayfarer advances are: Life Magic, Mana Conversion.
