Are we sure these are Phantasmal? I spent a while getting kicked around in the Ayan temple last night and I'm not so sure. They're definitely Shield Hollow, as going to Dual Wield didn't up the damage I was taking, but I noticed that hits to the hands and feet did a lot more damage, implying that the baned clothes were making a difference. If I understand Phantasmal right (and I may not), then the only thing that matters is life protections, which should make the damage evenly distributed.
