The test server is now available at http://asheron.wikia.com/wiki/ACC_Wiki_Home. Almost all extensions have been installed, however there are one or two that are still being worked on. --Tlosk 12:55, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

You will not be able to login using your ACC Wiki login, however if you have a Wikia account already (or create one) you can use that. The user accounts database isn't merged only as a final step once we have actually moved to Wikia. (If you create a Wikia account with the same name, use the same email address as you have associated with your ACC Wiki login to avoid any issues when merging).

You can change the skin used to our current skin by going to your preferences after logging in and under the Skins section select Monobook and uncheck "Let the admins override my skin choice".

Please look over the site this weekend and note any issues, observations, suggestions below.

Unexpected Behavior

Incorrectly labeled file history section

This is a minor issue that doesn't effect anything as far as I can see. Some (all?) files do not have the correct user listed in the file history. An example: File:Yalain Imperial Seal.jpg lists ASHERON-Gouru under "user" even though I was the one that uploaded it. If however, you go to the Revision history of "File:Yalain Imperial Seal.jpg" ( http://asheron.wikia.com/index.php?title=File:Yalain_Imperial_Seal.jpg&action=history ) it does correctly list me as the uploader. Like I said, its a minor issue and probably has no impact on anything, but it is an unexpected behavior. --An Adventurer 17:04, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Edit counts on Related Links page

The edit counts do not display correctly on the Related Links page. Looks like #ec:<user> no longer displays edit counts. Not sure if this is an issue with {{Contributions}} and {{Contributions Large}} or if it has to do with the wikia software displaying edit counts differently. --An Adventurer 17:04, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Image Galleries

Various image galleries are not displaying correctly, for me anyway. This can be seen at http://asheron.wikia.com/wiki/Artwork, http://asheron.wikia.com/wiki/Hieromancers'_Halls#Images, and http://asheron.wikia.com/wiki/Yalain#Art_.26_Images among other places. An odd behavior I noticed is that while the File:Yalain Imperial Seal.jpg does not display on the gallery, I can create a link like this or enter http://asheron.info/~asheron/index.php/File:Yalain_Imperial_Seal.jpg and the image does display. --An Adventurer 16:35, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

This appears to be an issue for any image that is resized smaller and for thumbnails. I haven't found any image that won't display as itself, but no resizings I have seen so far display (some are entirely blank, some have a placeholder). There is more than one way for Mediawiki to generate new images (whenever an image is resized Mediawiki creates a new image of that size and saves it to the Thumbs directory so that in the future it can refer to the new image file rather than generate it every time a page is rendered. I imagine there's a conflict between the old and new settings (or the way the directory is structured) that is causing this. --Tlosk 17:13, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Look with MonoBook skin

When switching to the default wikipedia skin, there seems to be 125 extra pixels at the right side of all articles, and all pages are framed or boxed. --An Adventurer 16:46, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Sidebar

The sidebar (links on the left side) will need customization once the site is live, so the current appearance both in Monaco and Monobook isn't how it will be later. --Tlosk 17:05, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
