Covenant Warrior
This is a non-specific template. It can work with either Heavy or Light Weapons and a variety secondary skills, and should be considered more of a shell designed around non-magic use.
This is a template designed to take advantage of the many systems in game that are an alternative to magic use:
- Uses Arcane Lore for creature and life self buffs.
- Uses Melee Defense, Missile Defense, and Magic Defense defense to wield Covenant Armor/Olthoi Armor in place of steel tinkered and baned armor.
- Uses Alchemy to wield Alchemical Throwing Phials in place of offensive life magic (Imperil, Vulns, Fester)
- Uses Assess Creature to wield Gearcrafted Lenses in place of life magic and in addition to Alchemical Throwing Phials for Imperil.
The end result is designed so that you can wield the top tier covenant armor, regardless of defense requirement, and you can wield the top tier, 400 base alchemy skill phials with only trained alchemy. Assess Creature is specialized to wield the Incomparable Lense.
Setup
Race
Race is relatively unimportant. The only exception would be Empyrean - the free augmentation of Infused Life Magic is of no benefit to this template.
The free racial augmentations can be broken down into three categories: general, offensive, and defensive.
General:
- Humans (Aluvian, Gharu'ndim, Sho, and Viamontian) receive Jack of All Trades.
- Lugians receive Might of the Seventh Mule.
Offensive:
- Shadows (Umbraen and Penumbraen) receive Eye of the Remorseless.
- Tumeroks receive Hand of the Remorseless.
Defensive:
- Gear Knights receive Iron Skin of the Invincible.
- Undead receive Critical Protection.

Your innate attributes are not important to the completion of this template. Any of these will work:
