Quest Overview

• This quest is now retired.

Asheron tells you, "It appears Deewain has left his cave. I believe this to be a good sign" He does not hand you the letter.

• Asheron wishes to mollify the golem Deewain and hopes to win his assistance in the coming conflict. He sends you as his messenger.

Walkthrough

• This quest shares its timer with Deewain's Dark Cavern, so if you complete that one, you can't do this one also as Asheron will turn you away.

Asheron tells you, "I can only hope that Deewain does not hold the actions of a few against all of us."

1. Speak to Asheron located in his castle's courtyard at 21.1N 69.2E. He will give you a Message from Asheron to Deewain. Talk one at a time (you can lose out and not get a note at all if you speak too many at a time).
   • Route: Town Network to Eastham (north hall), run northeast to the windmill portal to Asheron's Island at 17.9N 64.3E. Use the device in front of the drop and open the castle doors.
2. The quest from this point forward overlaps the Deewain's Dark Cavern quest, see that writeup for detailed directions on how to proceed.
3. Once the portal to Deewain's Chamber spawns (it can take a while of killing his defenders), enter the portal and don't attack Deewain, give him the Message from Asheron to Deewain.
4. Return to Asheron and speak to him for your reward.

• Warning: If you have an Energy Infused Rock from killing Deewain in your pack, no matter when you picked it up, Asheron will take it when you speak to him for the reward.

Asheron tells you, "I am saddened by the situation that poor golem Deewain is in."

Asheron tells you, "His life has been filled by one misunderstanding after another causing people to attempt to destroy him and cause him pain."

Asheron tells you, "I wish to make amends with this creature, even though it was my people who started this pain."

Asheron tells you, "If you would, take him this note. Hopefully he will understand that most of this kingdom wishes him no harm."

Asheron gives you Message from Asheron to Deewain.

Asheron tells you, "Besides, he may be a valuable ally in these coming months."

Giving note to Deewain

You give Deewain Message from Asheron to Deewain.

Deewain reads over the note before staring at you.

Deewain tells you, "I am not sure I believe everything that Asheron says."

Deewain tells you, "How can he say people wish me no further harm when they come here trying to destroy me day after day."

Deewain stares off in silence for a moment

Deewain tells you, "Tell Asheron that I will consider this, but that for now I wish to be left alone."

Speaking to Asheron after giving note to Deewain

You explain to Asheron Deewain's reaction to the note and of his wish to be left alone for now.

Asheron tells you, "That is understandable, he has been through a lot."

You've earned 40,000 Luminance.

Asheron tells you, "Perhaps this will prove to change his mind in favor of joining with us. Which, in turn, will allow people to better understand him and end his suffering."

Asheron tells you, "Let me reward you for helping this cause."

Speaking to Asheron after reward

Asheron tells you, "Thank you again for initiating communications with the misunderstood Deewain."

Asheron tells you, "Hopefully he will come around and realize that none of us wish him any harm and that all this has been caused simply by people's fears."

Asheron tells you, "For now we will have to wait and see."

Speaking to Asheron if you completed Deewain's

Asheron tells you, "I can only hope that Deewain does not hold the actions of a few against all of us."
