Overview

Retrieve the Essence of Dravann in the Virindi Research Facility and return it to Omarah in Plateau Village.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Speak with Omarah in Plateau at 44.2N 43.2W, Omarah the Virindi is located in the basement of the Agent of the Arcanum.
   • Route: From the Town Network, take the Aluvian wing to Plateau Village.
2. As directed by Omarah head to the Virindi Research Facility dungeon located at 43.3N, 43.7W.
3. Work your way through the dungeon freeing all the 3 Virindi Captives as you proceed.
4. To Free a Virindi Captive kill the Virindi Jailor just outside the captives door and loot a Virindi Prison Key dropped by the Virindi Jailor which is used to unlock the cell doors.
5. A 2nd locked door will open once the Virindi Captive is freed, ensure you use it quickly as it will close and the only way to open it is to free the Virindi Captive again as per the step above.
6. You will then come upon the Virindi Keeper. Kill the Virindi Keeper and loot the Virindi Research Center Key which is dropped by the Virindi Keeper, used to unlock the Virindi Research Center Door.
7. Work your way through the dungeon to a ledge where you must jump down.
8. The jump down lands in the arena that has the Curator of Torment in it.
9. Talking to the Curator or just waiting a bit, the Curator disappears and Dravann the Hollow Minion spawns, alone.
10. Kill Dravann the Hollow Minion and loot an Essence of Dravann.
11. Return the Essence of Dravann to Omarah in Plateau for your reward.

Omarah tells you, "Greetings fellow Derethian. You look brave enough to complete a task to free the ones like me; ones that have escaped the oppressing control of the Quiddity."

Omarah tells you, "Rarely our kind will show signs of individual thought, signs that we have become enlightened and free from the grip of the single-minded."

Omarah tells you, "See the crater to the south? A strange portal appeared recently and I can feel the call of my brethren from within. I can feel their identity being ripped away from them."

Omarah tells you, "I was drawn to the portal by the voices but I saw one of the Reaver of Dreams' minions guarding the entrance, so I hid here before they discovered me and dragged me into their facility. I am too little to attempt a rescue; the Virindi within are far too powerful for me to handle by myself."

Omarah tells you, "I do not know what the Reaver of Dreams is doing in there, but it can't be good and we must put a stop to this evil."

Omarah tells you, "Free any of the enlightened within and slay the one in charge. This will not stop the Reaver, no, but it will show that we will not crumble to their will."

Omarah tells you, "Return to me when you have put an end to their experiments and I will reward you."

Virindi Captives

Virindi Captive tells you, "Thank you for freeing me.

"The Virindi pauses for a moment as if to gather strength.

Virindi Captive tells you, "Continue onwards and release the others."

Virindi Captive tells you, "We will need our combined strength to be victorious and stop the Curator and these experiments."

Virindi Captive tells you, "Can it be?"

The Virindi looks at you and appears surprised at your presence.

Virindi Captive tells you, "Is today the day?"

Virindi Captive tells you, "Yes! With your assistance we can defeat the Curator."

Virindi Captive tells you, "Venture further, release any that are enlightened beyond the Quiddity and together we will end this oppression!"

Virindi Captive tells you, "I have sensed this time approaching. We will not fail!"

Virindi Captive tells you, "One final obstacle stands in your way before we can assault the ones responsible for our suffering."

"You must defeat the one known as the Keeper. It possesses a key which unlocks the way to the Curator. Kill this Keeper and take the key."

A strange sound eminates from the Virindi for a moment.

Virindi Captive tells you, "We are ready."

Virindi Captive tells you, "We are weakened from the Reavers' experiments but this will not hinder the enlightened from joining with you on the final assault. We will fight to the death for our freedom and to stop the Reaver's plan."

Virindi Captive tells you, "This ends today!"

Curator of Torment

Curator of Torment says, "This cannot be! Fleshlings? Here?!?!?"

The room begins to crackle with energy.

The Curator of Torment slowly turns its gaze to the Virindi prisoners you released.

Virindi Captive says, "We will not be pets molded to your vision of perfection!"

Curator of Torment shocks you for 69 points with Galvanic Bomb.

Curator of Torment says, "There is much that still needs to be done. I have no time to waste on you insignificant little ones."

Curator of Torment says, "This will be a perfect test for my newest toy. Come Dravann, slay the intruders. Leave none alive. This I command!"

The Warden softly utters unfamiliar words.

Curator of Torment says, "Lesser beings such as your kind do not have the capacity to comprehend our intentions."

Curator of Torment says, "I have more pressing matters that now require my attention with this latest change in direction."

Curator of Torment says, "Let your deaths serve as a warning to any that would interfere with the Reaver of Dreams!"

Rewards Dialog

You give Omarah Essence of Dravann.

Omarah takes the Essence and stares at it intently.

Omarah tells you, "Success! You have freed the enlightened and stopped the Reaver of Dreams, for the time being at least."

Omarah tells you, "We are in your debt brave one, this could never have happened without the strength, wisdom and bravery of one such as yourself."

Omarah tells you, "The losses are tragic. Few and far between are my kind gifted with this freedom, such a shame to have lost so many to the Reaver."

You've earned 315,000,000 experience.

Omarah gives you Mana Forge Key.
