Since the fall of the Kings and the disastrous civil war of the Undead, few mages of world-shattering power survive in Dereth.
Isin Dule, Lord of the Shadow Kingdoms and Traitor of Bael'Zharon, is one such mage.
Yet for all the Shadow Lord's might, there are places he cannot travel… places where Shadow itself is banished.
Now Isin Dule sends agents to invade these places and beyond, snatching back artifacts of power from a new and gathering threat.
