Overview

Challenge and beat Ulgrim the Unpleasant at his drinking contest to win titles and even the ultimate reward of a Mystical Mug.

Walkthrough & Notes

1. Purchase Wah Chon's Winter Lager from Wah Chon the Barkeep.
2. Head to Baishi and travel south from the town up a mountain to the Drunken Madman who resides outside a small tower at 53.0S 61.0E. Hand him the Winter Lager and he will open a portal to Ulgrim's Island.
3. On the small island adjacent from the one with the cottage that you port in on are many small golems. All the golems can drop an Ulgrim's Contest Mug trophy. Kill the golems until you have the desired number of mugs you need to reach your goal. If you want all three titles and the Mystical Mug then you'll need at *minimum* 11 of the mugs (10 to win and one to lose).
4. Once you have your mugs head to Ayan Baqur then Ulgrim resides just outside the bar in the center of town. Hand a Contest Mug to Ulgrim to begin the contest.
5. Five mugs will fall to the ground. The goal is to use each of the mugs before Ulgrim does. You can see the set up below.
   • Tip: The best way to do it is to first put your camera in overhead view (see images below).
6. After you give the mug to Ulgrim take a step backwards and turn slightly to the left or right. By starting out turned towards the mug you are going to use first you avoid having to spend time turning once the contest starts.
7. Target the mug with your mouse then press R (or what key you have set to "Use Item") as quickly as you can. As you are drinking the first mug target the next mug and keep pressing R. There is no room for any delays.
8. Continue in that manner until all 5 mugs have been used.

• Once you have the Mystical Mug you are flagged to use any Mystical Mug hooked in a house or mansion. When you use the Mystical Mug it casts a spell "Cast Iron Stomach" which increases your Stamina by 50 points and stacks with most buffs.

Handing Ulgrim's Contest Mug to Ulgrim the Unpleasant

You give Ulgrim the Unpleasant Ulgrim's Contest Mug.

Ulgrim clears his throat and announces "Attention my avid fans! I have been challenged to a Drinking Contest by <Name>! We shall begin in a few seconds."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "Make this look good kid, I have a reputation to keep here."

Ulgrim opens a backpack and starts arranging a number of Mug in the Sand. He sits five before you and five before himself and carefully fills them each with a small keg labled "Ulgrim's Best". The keg has a image of Ulgrim giving a thumbs up painted on it.

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "There we go. Now, I must prepare."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, "We will begin in five seconds!"

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "For besting me at my own game I'm making you one of my Drinking Buddies. Come back and drink with me anytime!"

Losing the Contest

Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, "Five! Haha! I win again!"

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "For coming in second place I award you a title befitting of your drinking prowess."

Winning the Contest 10 Times

Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, "You have truly bested me. I bow to you in my humble defeat."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "My my, you really have been practicing! I believe this is the 10th time you've beaten me. I think... no."

Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "Yes, I think you are ready. You have achieved the coveted rank of "Master of the Mystical Mug".

You are entrusted with the safekeeping of the Mystical Mug. Keep it well protected, for there are many dark forces that would love to get their claws on it."
