Shadow Armor

The shadow armor sets are purchased from the three master armorers using Scintillating Gems as currency.

Scintillating gems are created by fusing crystal and shadow crystal Trophies together. You will need a total of 9 scintillating gems for a full suit of Shadow Armor.

Shadow armor is Bonded (cannot be dropped on death), Unenchantable and Dyeable.

Shadow Armor Upgrades

Shadow Armor can be upgraded in a variety of ways. Upgrades are a combination of the old shadow armor upgrades (using major stones, shards, and prismatic glyph) and the upgrades for Atlan and Isparian weapons introduced during The Risen Princess (using blackfire and enhanced blackfire stones).

Note that all upgrades to the base Shadow Armor can be completely undone using the Stone Tool.

Prismatic Shadow Armor Use a Prismatic Glyph on each Enhanced piece of Shadow Armor. Changes armor set to Shimmering Shadows Set Changes armor stats to standard values regardless of major stone used. This armor has no differences based on the starting Shadow Armor set or major stone used. or Sharded Shadow Armor Use shards to upgrade individual pieces with major protection cantrips.
