The Tanada is a clan of Nanjou Shou-Jen. Currently the Tanada clan is the only clan known to exist on Dereth. They have a long history on Ispar as being the strongest of the Nanjou clans. The Tanada clan is made up of four houses:
House of Air
- House of Storms - warriors
- House of Wind - archers
- House of Breath - mages
House of Earth
- House of Earth - warriors
- House of Stone - archers
- House of Metal - warriors
House of Water
- House of Water - archers
House of Fire
- Chamber of Air - guardian warriors with magic
- Chamber of Earth - guardian warriors with magic
- Chamber of Water - guardian warriors with magic
