Question Title: | Can damage be reduced for the acid pits |
Category: | Dungeons |
Question: | recently I got stuck in sticky melee with an olthoi, and normally the only way to un-stick is to jump. Unforunately I was by the acid pits by the bridges and ended up falling in the acid. With Acid prot VI on, I was still taking 38-40 pts every couple seconds, though I did manage to ls recall out I died while in mid portal. So what I am asking, is there a chance of you lowering the damage that you take in the acid, or make the damage hit you slower since it does hit very fast. |

Answer: | Nope. The point behind the acid is to discourage people from jumping down there. It's unfortunate that you landed in acid through no choice of your own. However, we're not going to trivialize the danger to all by nerfing the pools. As a side note, I've seen people wander through acid pools if they have three life mages healing them constantly. |
