Question: With the new support of the 3dfx T-buffer in Direct X 8, is there any chance you'll be implementing things like Motion blur, Soft reflections, Soft shadows, Depth of field blur, ETC?

Answer: AC uses Direct X 6.1, so the engine would require upgrading to directX 8 to make use of that API - a huge task in and of itself. Besides that, my personal belief is that the effects the T-buffer offers don't look very good in most cases, and given the fact that only one brand of cards supports them, I'd rather us spend time developing things that everyone can use.
