| Question: | Will the fix for the perma-buffed items involve some kind of nerf on the item or deletion of it? The way the notification of the fix was worded it sounds as if something bad is planned for all perma-buffed items. Or am I reading too much into poor wording and the spells will just be removed. |

| Answer: | Allow me to explain. The statement said that using perma-buffed items may cause permanent negative effects. The point was, using ANY non-tested buggy code can have drastic negative results, as well as positive... The perma-buff was the result of a bug. Whether or not that bug caused only ONE result is not known. There may have been other permanent serious ramifications of the bug, and as the bug code was untested, it is impossible to know. How people construed from that that we would nerf or delete perma-buffed items, is a good question, but I've seen some bizarre rumors around possible punishments. They were just rumors. Anyway by now you know your answer. The hot-fix went live today. Sean. |
